Originated in Ming dynasties, the ancient residential gate was transported from Shanxi province in whole. The gate 10 meters in width, 7.5 meters in height, represents a magnificent verve. | White is used in large amount as the base color of the hotel lobby, which is spread with a romantic ambience of French royalty, to highlight the purity and spotlessness. The most special in design and expensive in production cost pendant lamps made of Spanish stone, reflecting against the marble on the ground, add an effect of flamboyance to the lobby. In the hotel lobby, there are totally 5 forged ‘Yongle palace Painting’ of the Yuan dynasty. The Shrine displayed on the left side of the lobby used to belong to the official of Shangxi province in Ming dynasty and currently is the one rarest in appearance and best in preservation in China. Those invaluable, priceless treasures collected from various dynasties in China’s history can be found everywhere, immaculately decorating the grand lobby. All the above in the hotel design aims to build up the avant-garde concept of a boutique hotel with a touch of Neoclassic. |
